Odd question, but do you ever listen to the band Portishead? Your layout looks to me, as a big Portishead fan, like it could have been inspired by Portishead's sound or their album covers. This is totally a compliment, because I think it's very clean-looking, and beautiful-depressing. :) Of course, that kind of look sort of goes with a name like "tormentosa."

Portishead? No, I've never heard of them before. I might check them out!

I often hate my layouts, so I wanted to make something that was simple enough for me not to hate and that had an autumn feeling to it. I thought of black and white, but that combination is so harsh so I went for off-white instead.

The reindeer is there cause I'm from Norway, and I wanted it reflected somehow. It's also very cute and softens out the sad look, I think.

About the depressing feel to it, I think it's because I was listening to a-ha while making it, and their music can be so melancholic and sad sometimes...
